The Great Orme Mine Tours
4,000 years this labyrinth has stood with echoes of ancient ancestors and how industry began. Discovered in 1987, the mines are one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in recent history and show us a fragment of civilisation even before the Roman invasion of the UK began. Tunnels are still being uncovered to this day, and the Great Orme Mine provides a fantastic educational experience for children and adults.

Take a self-guided tour around this unique living history museum, exploring 6 years of war captured in displays, shops and tableaux. Spend hours absorbing all things war-time Britain, from gas masks, ration books, propaganda memorabillia - and even some presents for history enthusiasts in the gift shop. You can find this on New Street, Llandudno, and the accessible venue is ideal for all ages and abilities.
Llandudno chocolate EXPERIENCE
Journey over 500 years of chocolate history at this epic must-visit attraction in Llandudno town centre - and yes, you can taste samples too! The chocolate experience takes place in the museum above the factory itself, where you can indulge in nine rooms, each representing a different element of the history of chocolate. Voyage through an Aztec temple, a Pirate Ship and a replica of a World War One trench, tasting goodies as you go.

Since 1925, this museum has educated visitors on the town’s natural history and geology, local decorative and fine art, social history, and military history. With nine different collections - from textiles to Roman and medieval - plus a ‘Welsh homes’ educational facility, this century-old attraction is a must-visit for all ages.
